Lance and Rachel Copeland

November 6, 2010 was a very special day. Lance married Rachel Summers. Their wedding was so sweet. They got married at Stanfill Baptist Church which is a small country church. It is where Lance and Rachel first met. The ceremony was so sweet and meaningfull. We had a wonderful outdoor reception that consisted of Barbecue and Fried Chicken topped off with homemade pies and a beautiful wedding cake. All the decorations were fall colors with leaves, pumpkins, and bales of hay. It turned out to be a beautiful warm day. Rachel was a beautiful bride and Lance was a handsome groom. It was a wonderful day that I will never forget. I praise God for bringing them together!

Just Thinking!!

I have been at home all day today getting ready for a progressive dinner tomorrow night that is going to end up at our house for dessert. I have just been thinking about Christmas time over the years. When David and I first married, every Holiday was filled with so many gatherings because we still had Grandparents and some Great Grandparents. It was a little frustrating at times trying to keep everyone happy . Now that our Grandparents are no longer here and our Sons are grown but don't have their own families yet, I find myself missing those times of all the family hubbub!. The memories are precious ones to me when I think of getting together at Grandma Harbours at Christmas and all of the kids having fun playing together. I think of all the big Easter Egg Hunts at Grandma Fulmers. The first time I went to the Easter Gathering at Grandma Fulmers, the uncles hid about 300 eggs. The last time I believe there was about 1000. Such Wonderful memories!. I think about Gradma and Grandpa Copelands Christmas and how Grandma Vi always got the guys sweat shirts or jeans. We are still wearing some of those sweat shirts. My memories of my Ma and Pa Morgans is how we always went on Christmas for lunch. Ma and Pa loved their grandkids and I have noticed some things in my Lance that really remind me of Pa. Funny how that happens! I feel so blessed to have grown up in the family that I have. I am also blessed to have married into the family that I have. They have all given me so much to be thankful for as far as families go. To my friends that find themselves stretched out during the Holiday Season just remember that time goes by so fast. Cherish every moment that you have with your family! They won't always be here! and your Children will grow up SO fast!

Bro. Wade and Amanda Lentz 1 Year Celebration

Saturday we had a great day here at the Ranch. We had 56 family and friends at Stanfill Baptist Church over for a really fun day to celebrate Bro. Wade and Amanda's 1 year Anniv. at Stanfill. We had breakfast at 8:00 then some people did target practice, rode the paddle boat, went fishing, played in the water, went hiking, some took a 2 hour ride with Robert German around the farm. ( I think he was showing off all the work he has been doing around here!) Some just sat on the porches and shot the breeze. The weather was perfect! We grilled Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and Polish Sausages for Lunch. My friend Suzie made chocolate cherry mice for the kids (of all ages). We called them church mice. Today I feel recovered enough that I'm ready to do it again!

Glad To Be Home!

I have been home for 1 week after my 2 week trip to the Been Speers Stamps-Baxter School of music in Murfreesboro, TN. I really had a great time. It's hard to explain what that school is like to someone that has never been there. All I can say is that it is 2 weeks that I will never forget. My brain has been so full of things that I learned and heard while there. I have spent this week just getting back in the normal routine (whatever that is). What I learned the most is how much I don't know! I sure wish I had paid more attention and applied myself more during all the years that I took piano lessons, and went to many music training workshops with my Daddy! I met a lot of people from all around the world. It is amazing how when you are together with people from all over that love Jesus and love music, there is a instant connection with them. That is the way it was there. I felt like I knew them already!! Might not ever sing with them again in this life on earth but I know I will sing someday in Heaven with them. As good as our choir sounded on earth, I can't imagine when we are all singing with perfect voices!!! Even though I had a great time, I am glad to be home with my Family. Sometimes being away makes you really stop and think about how much you appreciate the people at home. I love my family very much and I sure missed them.

What A Week!!

I have been gone to Tennessee for 1 week and this is the first chance that I have even sat at the computer. Beth and I have been going non stop for a week. We have both learned alot and sometimes we feel like our head is going to explode with all the information that has been given us. We have sang more this week than a bird. We sang this morning in Ben Speers church. There were approx. 600 there. They fed us lunch after the service. Our days have been from Breakfast at 7:00 to about 10:00 to 12:00 at night. No free time except about 30 min. after we eat lunch. We have had a great time and look forward to this next week. We will be recording our CD of the choir singing in the morning. We have met a lot of really nice people. There are people from all over. South Africa, Romania, Canada, and England. Lots of talent here. I have had a great time but I really miss my family!!

Just To Catch Up

Haven't had much time to write lately. We have spent the last couple of weeks caulking and resealing our house. Hopefully it won't have to be done again for quite a while. We had a cow that had twins but one didn't make it. David, Johnny, and Lance have got the first cutting of hay done. We celebrated Daves 28th birthday on July 3rd. We celebrated the 4th with a BBQ, Fireworks, and a special service on the Sunday before at Stanfill. On the afternoon of the 4th we went to my Mom and Dads for Homemade Ice Cream and a visit with my aunts and uncles and cousin. On the 5th we went to Zion Hill after we got out of church and watched the firework show that Dave and Lance prepared. It was really a good show. I am getting ready this week to go to the Stamps Baxter School of Music in Murfreesboro, TN. I will be there for 2 weeks. I am looking forward to it but I will miss my family. There is always alot to do to get ready to be gone for a couple of weeks.
